Paul Moncrieff
Paul Moncrieff, the owner and director of Moncrieff Electrical was raised in Bairnsdale / Bruthen.
He lives here in East Gippsland with wife Emily and three children.
Melbourne
In the early days of his career Paul moved to Melbourne where he worked on high rise construction, wiring multi-level residential apartments in the city.
Whilst in Melbourne, Paul undertook night school to further his knowledge in motor control and Business Management.
Apprenticeship
Paul completed his apprenticeship working on large rural properties, agricultural and dairy farm systems, hospitals and mining which shaped his career and work ethic.
Light Bulb
Paul started his own business in 2013 while living in Melbourne, studying to gain his solar licence.
In 2014 he had the ‘light bulb’ moment to return to East Gippsland and commence work as a sole trade, growing the business to where it is today.
Energy Efficiency
Paul soon found a passion for energy efficiency, sustainability and passive design.
He travelled through out Victoria and regional NSW, working in the solar industry, from domestic solar systems to large commercial solar systems.
Future Generation
Paul believes in educating the future generation of electricians and is passionate about providing local job opportunities.
Moncrieff electrical  continues CPD (continuing professional development) to ensure apprentices and other team members are trained the right way, keeping up with industry standards.
